What we’re studying
A practical course in transactional writing for GCSE/IGCSE English. Rather than studying a set text, this class builds the skill of writing for a real purpose and audience — letters, articles, speeches, reviews, reports and leaflets — and shows students how to adapt tone, register and structure to fit the task. It covers reading the question for purpose, audience and format, planning quickly, and using persuasive and rhetorical techniques to write with impact under exam conditions. Ideal for students who want to feel confident and score well on the writing paper.
